A Phoenix kinda test render

Description

I wanted to post this yesterday, but DAZ took FOREVER to render this out. I bit the bullet and bought more DAZ stuff in order to replicate the look that :icontrentharlow: made for me. What do you think? Be honest, I can take the criticism. ^^

Rendered in Iray.

Not bad, not at all!

I remember when I started my renders after videos of videos of training and spend hours of changing just a little bit of here and there. This picture reminds me of those times!

So, I love her skin especially on her legs. Why? The lighting is not concentrated on it, we can see a little shadow over her thighs what is probably caused by a side light and make it more realistic. As we go up on her body, the main light is taking over what couse a little bit "pale" feeling for me, it can be seen on her hair as well.

It is probably thank to that the main light (maybe the camera's headlight is on?)what is standing right in front of her. It can be seen on the books on the shelf as well since those are closer to the light they burn out a little. (too white)

The whole picture feels like when you took a photo of someone in an almost dark room with a flash.
What I could suggest is that put some light in the back to light up the whole room. Adding lights on her side-front could help to make her skin look more natural! Those can break more lights and shadows on her skin and on her hair as well!

In overall I like this picture, since I see the potential in it, you just need to think in more (or lesser) lights but in the correct positions!

Good luck! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
